After surviving a heroin overdose and years of addiction, Fren arrived in Memphis with no money and nowhere to turn. At Memphis Union Mission, he found more than a hot meal—he found hope, healing, and a new life through Christ.
Today, many years later, Fren is married, has a home, is active in his church, and encourages others by sharing the story of God’s faithfulness. He says, “I know God put His hand on me when I couldn’t help myself.”
