Memphis Union Mission’s administrative offices and the Wright Transitional House are located at 170 Tillman (just north of the intersection of Walnut Grove and Tillman).
If you wish to drop off cash donations in person, it is better to do so at this location. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Wright Transitional House is where the Transitional Phase of our Iron-on-Iron recovery program takes place. In this final phase of the program, men prepare to transition back into the community, work full-time (or work part-time and go to school) and are assisted in job readiness and job searches. They are also assisted in saving their personal finances and learn about living on a budget.
The men become involved in the activities of a local church and begin to build relationships outside of the Mission. By the time they leave the program, they will have built up a cash reserve which will enable them to secure housing and begin to live a life rich in good friendships and free from addictions.
