We are so thankful for the wonderful volunteers who joined us for Family Friday Nights at Memphis Union Mission. Seeing individuals and families step in to serve dinner with joyful hearts and helping hands creates a welcoming, encouraging environment for our guests and clients each week.
Family Friday Nights are a simple and meaningful way to serve together. Every Friday evening, individuals and families are invited to arrive at 4:45 pm at our Men’s Emergency Shelter, 383 Poplar Ave. Volunteers help serve dinner at 5:00 pm, with light cleanup afterward, and are welcome to attend our evening chapel service. The entire experience typically lasts 30 to 45 minutes.
