Christmas at Memphis Union Mission

As we enter this holy season, Memphis Union Mission is preparing to celebrate the birth of Christ by extending His love, compassion, and hope to the men, women, and families we serve. Christmas Day at the Mission is more than a meal — it is a reminder that the Light of the world meets us even in our hardest moments, offering comfort, dignity, and the promise of new life.

One meaningful way you can share the love of Jesus with our guests this year is by creating Christmas Shoeboxes for the men in our Men’s Emergency Shelter. These gifts communicate the heart of the Gospel — that every person is seen, valued, and deeply loved by God.

Shoeboxes may be filled with small essentials and winter items, wrapped with the lid separate from the box, and delivered to the Mission by December 20.

For more details on suggested items and drop-off instructions, please visit our Donate Your Stuff page.

Thank you for helping us share the joy of Christ’s coming with those who need it most. Your generosity brings light into the lives of our neighbors this Christmas season. 🎄✝️
