The Memphis Union Mission Opportunity Center (Men’s Emergency Shelter) is now accepting “Christmas shoeboxes” for our men. These presents will be passed out to the men around Christmas time.
The Idea: Get a shoebox and fill it full of goodies for the men, wrap it, and bring it to the Shelter.
The Contents: hard candy, writing paper, crossword puzzles, seek-a-word puzzles, pens/pencils, winter- wear such as hats, gloves, scarves, socks (white), t-shirts, and underwear (Lg/XL). Please no other foods except for hard candy.
The Drop-off: 383 Poplar Ave, Memphis TN 38105…behind the new building on Washington Street…donations are accepted Monday-Saturday, 8 am-4:30 pm (closed for lunch noon- 1 pm). Follow the “blue line”
The Date: Please deliver no later than December 20, 2024
