Thank You!

Thank you so much for your interest in Memphis Union Mission's Legacy of Hope Campaign!

This project has been the dream of many people for many years.

All of us at the Mission - our Board, staff, volunteers and clients - have looked forward to the day when we could better minister to the needs of the people who come through our doors every day in need of help.

And that's really what this campaign is all about. It's not about having bigger, newer facilities. It's about providing the best means for some of the most vulnerable people in our community to rebuild their lives and start anew.

This is an exciting project because we believe that it will make an impact on lives for many years to come, and that it will make an eternal difference.

We hope that you will take the time to look over the information in this booklet carefully, and that you will prayerfully consider how you might be a part of something truly special.

Thank you again! God bless you!

The Mission's ultimate objective is for clients to:

Memphis Union Mission fulfills this objective by providing emergency services every day, including prepared food, emergency housing, clothing, and hygiene. The Mission also provides a long-term recovery program for men, a long-term recovery program and safe house for women and their children, and transitional housing for intact homeless families.

The Mission operates six separate facilites across the Memphis area. It receives no government funding and is not a United Way agency. Instead, the Mission is solely funded by donations from individuals, corporations, churches and foundations.
