You can donate the used vehicle you no longer need and, at the same time, help care for the hungry and homeless of Memphis.

Your donation will make a huge impact on the lives of countless men and women here in 
our community.

Memphis Union Mission can accept the following as donations:

  • Cars
  • Vans and minivans
  • Trucks
  • Recreational vehicles
  • Boats
  • Motorcycles
  • ATVs
  • Tractors
  • Small farm equipment

Some donated vehicles may be used for general Mission purposes, while others are sold to raise money for Mission programs.

Donating Your Vehicle

If you're interested in donating your vehicle please be advised of the following:

  • We cannot accept non-running vehicles.
  • We will to see make a copy of some type of document that states your Social Security number (for IRS reporting).
  • We will need to make a copy of some type of government-issued ID.
  • We will need your current address and telephone number.
  • We will need a clear title of the vehicle in your name.

Donating your vehicle to the Mission is a very simple process, and your donation qualifies as a tax-deductible gift. However, there are some general guidelines that must be followed due to IRS laws and regulations.

To set up a time to donate your vehicle, please contact Randy Daniels at (901) 526-8434, ext. 1008.

After speaking with Pastor Randy, you can deliver your donation to the Mission’s Men’s Emergency Shelter, located at 383 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN 38105.

The sale of your vehicle is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Since each donor's tax situation is different, we recommend that you consult your tax professional.
